                          ..........She looked up, tears streaming down her face. A boy her age walked over and crouched down to her eye level, he pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket and handed it to her. She dabbed her face and gathered her breath, looking him over. He was dreamy. He had jet black hair and almond brown eyes. He had an olive complexion and she knew he wasn’t from this side of the country.   “Albert” He offered, He had a deep voice.  “What did that bear do to deserve such a beating?”  She looked over to the headless teddy on the back wall and couldn’t help but chuckle.  “Who are you?” She said, regaining her composure.  “Albert, I just told you. Did the bear hit you in the head?” He held out his hand and lifted her to her feet.  She dusted herself off, this was no way for an heir to act. “Sorry”, she muttered- I I- “ “I know, you do not like cute little bears, He picked one teddy bear up off the ground making it dance and smiled at Laila. She was stunned by his handsomeness and felt lost in his infectious smile.  “There you are.” Timmy said. “I was looking all through the tunnels for you.”  He paused to assess the situation looking at Laila then back to Albert, “I see you met, Laila, Princess Victoria’s first born. Now let’s go!”   With that Albert took Laila’s hand and kissed it, bowing out of respect for her position in the castle. “Enchante”, he pronounced and turned to follow Timmy. “Wow!” Laila gushed fanning herself. As she dried her eyes, she continued looking at her kissed hand, still swooning, wishing she’d met Mr. Handsome under better circumstances, than her hysterically crying and violently abusing an innocent teddy bear. ........
